In late June 2021 I was commissioned to create an illustration to tease the release of the ultimate evolution to the Land Rover Defender Classic.
The client didn't want anything too obvious or in line with the status quo and instead wanted a design that resembled gig posters of certain musicians and bands from the past, mixed with certain elements that hinted at the brands roots and message. A cool design that represents a rebellious attitude but at the same time reflects the quality and craftsmanship evident in their vehicles.
After many hours, the above Illustration is what we came up with and both me & the Client were very happy with the final result. The design is planned to be printed on a large scale to be displayed in showrooms along with the vehicle as well as potentially being given as a framed print out to the lucky purchasers of the 50 limited run vehicles.
